Back in December I was interviewed by the folks at Operation Happy Nurse. (See Jan. 11th blog post for link to interview). I had a blast talking about art therapy and how art expression can really help with stress relief in day to day life. This group is dedicated to providing healthy ideas for nurses to maintain balance in their lives, especially in these challenging times when frontline workers are being stretched beyond their limits. I wanted to give something back to this wonderful community that has done so much to help so many during the last year. I am happy to announce a Free Session offered to nurses and healthcare workers in need of stress-relief. Register or share this with someone you know who could benefit.
Thurs. March 4, 2021
7pm-8pm EST/4pm-5pm PST
This creative arts session is being offered in conjunction with Operation Happy Nurse.
Join me for a short guided visualization and exploration of the circular imagery of Mandala, using creativity to release stress and encourage non-verbal self-expression. One of the wonderful benefits of this type of creativity is that no prior art experience is necessary. When creating for self-expression, the process of engaging with art media is the focus.
